A Stones Throw is an ideal family getaway. Just seconds to the sand and equipped with everything you could dream of for a great Oregon Coast family vacation! This beautiful home features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, flat screen TV, and a gorgeous river-rock wood burning fireplace. Save the room in your car or bags because this home has everything you need to have children and grandchildren have the best vacation ever without needing to bring a single thing to keep them busy! There is a plethora of kids books, board games, tons of toys, Lego's, foosball, and of course plenty of sand castle building tools and sand sleds for the local dunes. To access the beach from this home simply walk east about 300 feet to a gate, take the gate west through the community paths and you'll find a clearly marked beach access point. You can view the location of this home on Google Maps. Just a few yards outside this home is a quiet community playground. Close enough to send the grandkids out to enjoy themselves while you keep an eye on them, but just enough distance that it won't disturb the bedrooms in the wee hours of the morning. You will also have complimentary access to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda's fitness center, just 1/4 mile North of this home. Please no smoking, no pets.

Bedrooms:

A Stone's Throw has 3 bedrooms, 1 bedroom is downstairs and 2 bedrooms are upstairs. The downstairs room features a comfortable Queen size bed with access to the full bathroom on the main floor. The master bedroom upstairs has a Queen size bed and separate bunks in the room that have a full size futon on bottom and twin size on top, ideal for the young family. The other guest room upstairs has a cozy double size bed and plenty of amenities for younger family members. Both upstairs bathrooms have direct and private access to the master bath.

Beach Access:

A Stone's Throw is located in the Four Sisters community, which is on the west side of Cape Kiwanda Drive. Take the quick trails to the shoreside (less than a 5 minute walk) or ride bikes to one of the many beach access points just minutes away. View it on a map here. 

Parking:

There is parking for 1 car in the garage, and 1 other space in front of the garage. Overflow parking is available on a first come first serve basis just a few feet from this home Please call ahead if you have additional parking needs so we can make arrangements for you.
