Munson Creek Falls

While there are numerous waterfalls throughout Tillamook County, most of the accessible ones are small. The exception is Munson Creek Falls, located about 7 miles south of Tillamook. Munson Creek Falls ranks as the highest waterfall in the coast range, dropping 266 feet over spectacularly rugged cliffs. A sign off highway 101 directs motorists to a 1 to 2 mile roadway leading to a parking area and trails. The lower trail is a short easy walk to the base of the falls with a picnic area nearby. Newport Aquarium

Oregon Coast Beach Rides

We ride on the Oregon Coast Beaches! Come see the beautiful Oregon coastline, enjoy the rugged dunes and sea wildlife—birds, deer, elk, seals and occasionally a whale all on horseback! We have experienced horses for all skill levels and miniature horses to accommodate kids. Ages 6 and up can ride. Guidance and instruction included. We stop to take photos on the beach. Sandlake Recreation Area

The Sand Lake Recreation area is located along Oregon’s North Coast. 15 miles southwest of Tillamook; between Cape Lookout and Cape Kiwanda. It covers 1,076 acres of open sand dunes, surrounded by forests and adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. The sand lake recreation area offers a variety of recreational opportunities such as OHV riding on the dunes and beach, fishing, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, hiking and wildlife viewing.
