 Whales in Oregon!

People come from all over the world to learn about the gray whales that travel along the Oregon coast each year. Whales are visible from Oregon's shores all year long although some months are better than others. Cape Kiwanda is one of the coasts best viewing spots and a volunteer is posted here to help you find and enjoy these beautiful creatures.

In the Winter we watch nearly 20,000 gray whales from mid-December through mid-January as they travel south to the warm lagoons of Baja Mexico. Learn more at Whale Watching Spoken Here!

Curious about the new hotel in Pacific City, Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa? Plan a mid-week trip to the beach and meet us every Wednesday at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda at 4pm for a tour and walk-through of the soon-to-be hottest hotel opening on the Oregon Coast in years. We can't wait to see you!
