May 20: Reach the Beach

Reach The Beach is an amazing event that comes to Pacific City each year, the weekend before Memorial Day in May. For the last two years the event has sold out at 3,000 cyclists headed right into Pacific City for a celebration on their outstanding contributions to The American Lung Association.

May 26-29: Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day in Pacific City, Oregon isn't just about barbecues and bonfires. It's about remembering those who have served and honoring them. Watch as we raise the American Flags along The Nestucca River. Dine with veterans at The Kiawanda Community Center in Pacific City. Bring the whole family along for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

June 17: Yappy Days in Pacific City, Oregon

Join us for our Annual Yappy Days festival this Saturday, June 17th at The Inn at Cape Kiwanda! This event is held to benefit the local Tillamook Animal Shelter, 100% of our proceeds from this festival are donated. Last year we raised over $1,000! Come on down for adoptions, vendor booths, informative presentations regarding grooming, a pet wash, and more! Details will be released closer to the date. 

June 18: Father’s Day

This year bring Dad to the beach and splurge on a Dory Fishing boat tour! Circle Haystack Rock and pick up some great crab or halibut! Then finish the day off with a taster tray of the best beers in the world at the Pelican Pub and cozy into a comfortable beach home for the rest of the weekend. 

July 1: Pacific City Fireworks & Clover’s Day

Come celebrate our nation's independence! On Saturday, July 1st at dusk the town will come alive with fireworks, campfires, and an all around good time! Don't miss the fireworks show that takes place on the 4th of July in Newskowin, Oregon just a few miles south!

Clover's Day starts off on July 1st in the morning in Cloverdale, Oregon just 2 miles North of Pacific City. There is a parade in the morning, street vendors and live music all day, all the businesses are open and bustling, and don't forget the elephant ears and caramel corn from the Nestucca Valley Lion's Club!

July 4: Fireworks in Neskowin

Stay through the fourth of July in Pacific City and skip 5 miles south on 101 to Neskowin, Oregon. They have a phenomenal fireworks show right on the beach every 4th of July. It is definitely not to be missed!

July 14-16: Dory Days Weekend

Pacific City comes alive with the tradition of Dory Fishermen July 15 - 17! Join us for a fish fry, vendor booths, parade, children's activities, the history of the fleet, and more!

August 21, 2017: Complete Solar Eclipse in Pacific City

Pacific City is in the path of totality for the Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017!
Observers there will see (appx.) 1m 11s of totality!

September 8 - 10, 2017: Blowsion Surf Slam

For three days, beginning Friday, September 8th, 2017, the world's greatest Watercraft Freeriders and racers will descend once again on Pacific City Oregon for this year's top US PWC surf event which combines the second round of the IFWA Freeride World Championship Tour with the IJSBA Freeride World Cup and Motosurf Western Championship. 

The event will be held at Tierra Del Mar Beach located just north of Pacific City and is free to the public on this wide expanse of beach. The Blowsion Surf Slam will bring over 40 riders from around the world competing for a cash purse and points towards the IFWA World title and competing for the 3rd Annual IJSBA Freeride World Cup. Joining them will be some of the best PWC racers in the world who will display high speed turns through a grueling buoy course all while being challenged by the Pacific Coast's always unpredictable waves.
