Even being in a townhouse, we still had a strong sense of privacy, parking for two, the bbq grill, the warm outside water, plus so much more.
Dates of Stay: August 2012
We love coming to stay - it is so restful there. It's private but has become very personalized for us. The beds are very comfortable - the living spaces very cozy. The kitchen is very well stocked, so I can be confident that we could make almost anything during our stay. Our boys love the basement pool table and the fireplace. Even our dogs love poking around the yard and on the beach. We've enjoyed building memories there the last couple of years and hope to for many years ahead. Thank you.
Location and atmosphere of home & community. We LOVED the home. It was so nice, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
Location, relatively quiet, comfortable beds, plenty of room. Staff at Inn at Cape Kiwanda were exceptionally nice! Wish the Riverhouse Restaurant was still there; didn't try the new one because it was closed Wednesday night when we had wanted to go. Still great food at the Grateful Bread!
We have rented many homes, this was one of the best. There were a lot of toys, books, and games for the children. It was also stocked with spices, ziploc bags (etc.), just extra things that make it more like home and easier on the renter.
We absolutely loved our stay. The home was amazing and beautiful. Although the storm was bad, we stayed in, enjoyed some really good local wines, endulged in some amazing food and watched movies from the free rental selection. It was just what I needed. The house was much to large for just the two of us. However, we will be back! The owners of this home have taken great care in the details and the decor just set the mood perfectly! Thank you.
I loved how safe it was for my children to walk around and how close it was to the beach. The house was also beautiful.
Easy beach access, pet friendly choices, nice houses, love being able to do laundry, and the convenience of cooking own meals instead of going to a restaurant everyday. This has become a yearly (maybe even twice yearly) tradition.
We really like the unit we always stay in because it's totally set up for family's with young kids - lots of toys in the house and garage that our boys loved. We especially appreciate the adult bike with the child seat in back since we don't have one of these ourselves so it's a treat to use it when we're there. Also the red wagon is a must-have. Great place!
Wonderful preservation of the wild nature of the pines, and dune grass. The skyway to the beach over the dunes is spectacular!
The location is great for walking to everything; beach, Pelican and other restaurants and coffeeshop. Having one's own private space is nice. We loved being able to include our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. We had a wonderful time.
Proximity to the beach, bike path (our boys could ride around unattended) and home layout. Not to mention the home was adorable! High marks for the decorator. Bottom line, we loved our vacation and hope to make an annual visit to Shorepine. My husband even suggested we check on availability for September - get one more visit in this year Thank you!
We love Shorepine Village. The path and boardwalk to the beach are wonderful. The houses/condos are well insulated(from noisy neighbors). Check in/out is easy. All the units we have stayed in are very nicely decorated and the floor plans are well planned.
Having bicycles in the garage we could use was really nice. The houses were really clean and reasonably stocked as well.
The house was very spacious with plenty of room for the six of us. Since we had dogs with us, the fenced backyard was particularly nice. It was very close to the wooden stairs and a short walk to the Pelican Pub.
Setting that takes advantage of natural surroundings (sea grass, trees.) Paths for walking & biking Bikes in garage Full supply of paper & cleaning products.
Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, love the boardwalk to get to the beach. Enjoyed the free movie rentals, especially because one of our children was sick and we couldn't get out much.
We love Pacific City, everything it has to offer and all that it doesn't (traffic, noise, etc.). Being in a HOME in Pacific City is the frosting on the cake. Thanks to all of the home owners that share with us.
We loved the solitude of the "off-season." We felt like we had the place to ourselves. We loved exploring the dunes, the tide pools and the pathways in the complex. I rented the house for my family who was visiting from back east, and they had such a great time. Thanks for helping to create wonderful memories of their coastal experience! We hope to rent again next year.
